# Innovation Summit for Layered Missile Defense

We have decided to combine the agenda of the Layered Missile Defense Summit with our scheduled Space Transformation Summit in Washington, D.C., on 21–22 January 2026.

Bringing the full innovation and capacity of the U.S. industrial base to space has never been more important. We remain committed to hosting events, both unclassified and classified, in support of layered defense against missile threats. Planning is underway to ensure this topic is featured during AIAA's DEFENSE Forum, 17–20 March 2026, in Laurel, Maryland, and at ASCEND, 19–21 May 2026, in Washington, D.C.
